While passion is a mark of most nature photographers, many of them have neither the time nor the inclination to spend years on a single subject, regardless of their enthusiasms for it. Yet five years in the wild hasn't tamed the passion of German photographer Florian Schulz for his subject matter. Schulz spent this time crossing and recrossing almost a million square miles of rugged mountains and river valleys from Yellowstone to Yukon (Y2Y), photographing the landscape and the wildilfe, and documenting the area.
